Total Image Works
Commitment to Sustainability
At Total Image Works Limited, we believe that creating exceptional fine art goes hand-in-hand with environmental responsibility. We are proud to be part of the printing industry’s positive movement toward a more sustainable future, and we are dedicated to minimizing our ecological footprint at every stage of our process.
Our commitment extends beyond our own walls through partnerships with vendors who share our core values. Together, we offer our clients the option of beautiful, enduring products made with the planet in mind.
Conscious Materials & Trusted Partners
We meticulously select our materials and partners based on their sustainable practices and certifications.

Canvas: Our canvas printing utilizes HP Latex inks, one of the most sustainable methods available, making it a premier eco-conscious choice for artists.
Reusable Vinyl: We produce our reusable wall vinyl, Phototex, in-house. This innovative material drastically reduces waste and provides a superior, sustainable signage solution for Canadian artists and businesses.
Framing: We are committed to a sustainable future by offering options from North American providers of FSC® and PEFC certified moulding products, with a wide selection of over ten sustainable framing options.
Acrylic: Partnered with E.M. Plastic, leads the industry with robust acrylic recycling programs and offers a range of eco-friendly alternative materials.
Paper: We are proud to work with Hahnemühle, a company certified for its comprehensive environmental management systems (ISO 14001). This is a key step in their inspiring journey to become the first climate-neutral paper mill by 2030.
A Philosophy of
Preservation
While certain projects may require specific materials, our core philosophy is rooted in archival quality and longevity. We strive to provide artists and businesses with a sustainable choice and final products that are not only built to last for generations but are also created with a conscious effort to reduce environmental impact.

This belief in preservation is also reflected in our home. Our office in the historic W.J. Gage Building (80 Spadina Ave) is a proud member of the Architectural Conservancy of Ontario (ACO). Maintaining and reusing existing buildings is a fundamental tenet of sustainability, as it conserves the immense energy and resources embedded in their construction. This philosophy mirrors our dedication to fine art preservation honoring the past while protecting the future.
We invite you to partner with us to create something beautiful and enduring, responsibly
