Fine Art & Photo Printing

At Total Image Works, we help artists, photographers, and institutions transform digital files into physical works of lasting beauty. With over 40 years of combined experience and deep roots in museum-grade production, we offer the full spectrum of professional printing—from archival fine art prints to high-volume photographic editions.

Every print is handled with care, intention, and technical precision—because we believe the final output should reflect the same integrity as the image itself.

Archival Fine Art Printing

As a certified Hahnemühle Studio, we meet the highest international standards for archival pigment printing. Using premium media from Hahnemühle, Canson, and Moab, we produce museum-grade giclée and fine art prints with rich tonal range, exceptional detail, and long-term stability.

We offer a range of fine art paper stocks as well as giclée canvas prints, ideal for artists and photographers seeking a textured, painterly surface and durable gallery presentation. Each canvas print is produced with the same level of colour accuracy and archival quality as our paper-based work.

Whether you’re producing a single exhibition piece or a full edition, our team ensures consistency from proof to final print.

Professional Photo
Lab Printing

For photographic work that demands a traditional look and feel, we offer C-Prints (also known as chromogenic or silver halide prints). These chemical-based processes deliver smooth gradients, deep blacks, and natural skin tones—ideal for large-format photography and commercial applications.

Our lab technicians are highly trained in file preparation and colour management, so your images retain their depth and nuance throughout the process.

Chromaluxe HD Metal Prints

We were one of the first fine art labs in North America to pioneer the Chromaluxe HD metal printing process, and we’ve spent years refining our technique to deliver the highest possible quality. This dye-sublimation method infuses your image directly into a specially coated aluminum surface, resulting in a stunning print with incredible vibrancy, detail, and durability.

Unlike surface-printed materials, Chromaluxe prints are resistant to fading, scratching, and moisture—making them ideal for both gallery presentation and demanding commercial environments.

We offer custom-cut sizes, including large-format panels up to 4′ x 8′, and multiple finish options such as high-gloss, satin, and matte. Whether you’re producing a single statement piece or a full installation, our team will guide you through the process to ensure flawless results.

Value Print Line

Great printing should be accessible. For artists and photographers working with tighter budgets or larger quantities, we offer a curated value line of fine art and photo prints that maintain professional standards at a more accessible price point.

These prints are ideal for high-volume fulfillment, where cost is a key consideration—but without compromising the visual integrity of the image. Whether you’re selling online, producing open editions, or commercial applications, our value print line delivers consistent quality, handled by the same expert team that produces our exhibition-grade work.

Precision Through Colour Management

At the core of our printing process is a state-of-the-art, fully colour-managed workflow. From monitor calibration to printer profiling, every step is carefully tuned to ensure what you see is what you get.

Our studio operates under strict colour standards, using advanced calibration tools and custom ICC profiles to maintain consistency across devices, materials, and print processes. Whether you’re printing on fine art paper, canvas, photo stock, or metal, your images will retain their depth, accuracy, and emotional tone—across editions, sizes, and substrates.
